Five smoke shops in Rockland County are facing federal charges after authorities said the businesses were selling marijuana without a license.
The Rockland County District Attorney's Office says officials seized a total of 170 pounds of cannabis and roughly $400,000 from "Zava" stores in Orangetown, Clarkstown and Suffern.
The charges come after a year-long joint investigation with federal officials.
