Rye Playland reopens for soft launch; Dragon Coaster expected to reopen May 23

After a year of uncertainty and ongoing construction, county officials say the park is ready to welcome families back. O’Connor called Playland “the jewel of the county” and said officials want it to be “a pleasurable, wonderful experience for everybody that comes.”
