New cannabis cultivation facility breaks ground in Ulster County

Officials say this will be one of the biggest economic opportunities in the Hudson Valley in decades and will provide locals with many new jobs.

A new cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility is coming to Ulster County.
Cresco Labs, which is a cannabis company, just broke ground on Aluminum Drive in Ellenville. The location is the former home of Channel Master and Schrade knife factories.
Cresco Labs tells News 12 they'll be renovating a building already on the property and will also build an additional facility.
