An Eastchester family was displaced Tuesday after a fast-moving fire ripped through their two-story home.
Investigators say the fire may have started in the attic of the home at 85 Ridge St.
"It looks like there were workmen in the house," says Chief Mike Grogan, of the Eastchester Fire Department. "Plumbers doing some work in the bathroom, replacing the shower valve."
Grogan says the the combination of water and fire damage inside the home has forced the family to temporarily find a place to live.
Officials say no one was injured.
