7h agoThe Westchester Medical Center Health Network has confirmed the discontinuation of its home health care services at Bon Secours community Hospital in Port Jervis.
News 12 first reported on similar cuts at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern and Westchester Medical Center’s home health services in their Mid-Hudson Valley division in Poughkeepsie on Friday.
A hospital spokesperson says the departments are being discontinued as of July in a decision approved by the state Department of Health, but a Bon Secours employee says 200 home health workers were already let go last week without notice.
