Today's weather looks good. Another calm day Hoboken, you'll notice temperatures into the forties. Much more seasonal feel. The clouds also passing and not much expected as far as things coming out from the sky that will change come tomorrow with some windswept flurries also heading into Thursday as well, but significant sharp cold front with the potential for some widespread rain. Late Sunday is also on tap for us this week, gust forecast tomorrow look like this out of the north. That's going to continue to filter in that colder drier air across the region for tomorrow at times, gusting upwards of 2030 mile per hour range. It's just going to add on to that cold feel, especially for Thursday morning. Some clouds right now, that's what we're noticing and far off to our west. We're tracking this system here that's bringing a lot of snow across Pittsburgh, eventually our neighbors in Pennsylvania and that will be adding on to the woods, swept flurries for tomorrow. Wednesday. As far as today goes, it's nice. It's calm, the potential for the flurry start up as early as six o'clock in the morning. Feels like temperatures dropping down to the twenties, you need all the layers, it will feel significantly colder tomorrow. Waking up as we progress throughout the day, we'll notice a mixture of sun and clouds, more clouds than sun and the temperature staying stuck in the forties. The potential for a Sprinkle is also there Wednesday afternoon. We clear out nicely heading Thursday. We get a repeat and do over. I think this day is a bit more likely for us to notice those snowflakes lingering about with a seasonal feel and that festive look overall tying in that colder air along with that look as well. Here's an exclusive look at our extended attend day here, forties as we say hello and happy Hanukkah and heading into the afternoon and evening time frame into the fifties. But a cold front approaches on Sunday.

Good stuff there. All right, let's get another check of the weather. Yeah, Alan's back and we're talking cold weather like we're probably used to doing in December. Right. A right. Right. So we're pretty much back to where we should be this time of year. And you think today is cold gets even colder into tomorrow. So, let's take a look. Let's fast forward 24 hours and what we're going to see our temperatures close to the freezing mark tomorrow morning, especially northern parts of our bro. So Riverdale and North Bay Chester close to that freezing mark and it's going to feel like a little bit below freezing. So definitely colder than this morning. 34 for sound, be 35 for throgs that not much of an improvement into the afternoon as we're going to see lots of cloud cover, keeping us on the cold side. So it's going to be a struggle to reach 40 degrees. I think most of us do that. But it's going to feel like the thirties all day long. So, back to that December kind of cold hour by hour, you can see most of the day we're in the thirties, maybe during that two o'clock hour, we do reach the 40 degree mark. Then things get a little bit interesting for Thursday. Notice clouds come right back in and look at the left side of the screen over there. That's right. That's snow. So for us it's just going to be cold, it's going to be about 39 degrees. Then look at that. A couple of snowflakes are pretty close to us here in the Bronx. Of course, this is still a couple of days out, but I can't rule out a couple of those snowflakes, but the forecast is definitely improving most of the day is going to be dry. So looking at Hanukkah as it is ushering in uh for sunset, the temperatures, they are going down from 39 degrees into the middle 30. So you definitely want to bundle up if you're going out and about 10 day forecast is going to show warm up goes really, really into overdrive this weekend. But so does the rain chance big storm system looks likelier and likelier when exactly on Sunday, we're figuring that out, but move those plans to Saturday. Good advice for everyone. Thank you, Alan. But both signs of the season for sure, Matt Hammer, as are the temperatures will be experiencing. And you said maybe possibly a snow flake or two today, right tomorrow and Thursday, really, it's really a dry day today. But tomorrow, an isolated flurry can be ruled out a better chance on Thursday. Nothing that's going to slow you down in terms of winter weather at all. But yeah, it could add to a festive look tomorrow and Thursday today, dry, but mostly into the afternoon. Highs right around 42 degree mark in Scarsdale this afternoon. And, and with the clouds overhead, those temperatures really won't change for several hours during the afternoon until after sunset just before 430. And that's when temperatures will start to drop towards the upper thirties and eventually it'll get a little bit colder overnight. Tonight, outside this morning, it was a nice start to the day. You can see high clouds already moving in and into the afternoon. It will become mostly cloudy. So here's the future cast a lot of gray by noon time it's chilly. It's mostly cloudy, but it's a decent day. Otherwise, as long as you're dressed appropriately, having the winter coat gloves and the hat even into the afternoon is not an awful idea. Overnight. Tonight, mostly cloudy, still chilly overnight. Lows mostly in the upper twenties to low thirties into early on Wednesday morning. And then tomorrow is going to be a mostly cloudy day in its entirety for Wednesday. Here you see a little blip of some white or blue popping up late morning into the afternoon tomorrow. That would be that isolated flurry chance most of the Hudson Valley does not even see that though increasing clouds today. Low forties in chilly colder overnight tonight, as you'd expect this time of the year for a nighttime lows around 29 in Newburgh for a hyperlocal temperature same in Poughkeepsie, about 33 in the city of Yonkers, close to 40 again tomorrow, if anything, a straight flurry, but most of the day is dry, can't rule out of flurry on Thursday as well near 40. Then temperatures warm up Friday into the weekend. Fifties starting on Saturday. It's the pick of the week there before some rain on Sunday, Monday through Thursday of next week, looking dry but chillier with highs back in the 40

I'm meteorologist Rich Hoffman. You're a hyper local weather forecast, heading throughout the rest of our day. We do have the cloudy skies with us. A temperature around 44 degrees for the high and then this evening going out for dinner, you're looking at temperatures in the low forties and then by tomorrow morning, mostly cloudy skies, temperature around 32 degrees. Waking up on your Wednesday morning, there is a slight chance of a Sprinkle or a flurry overnight as war warm air comes in from the west. So you're seeing the clouds here and some moisture we have what we call an Alberta Clipper kind of screaming on by here and it's gonna go to the south and there's gonna be some clouds. And as it moves south of Long Island, there will be the chance overnight of a quick little rain, snow shower or Sprinkle or flurry overnight into the first part of our Wednesday hour by hour, the rest of today, 42 degrees five o'clock in Bay Shore at 38 at 8 p.m. There's the clouds and again, slight chance of a Sprinkle of flurry into your Wednesday morning. You can see here on our weather maps. Then by Wednesday afternoon, mostly cloudy skies and Wednesday has a chill to the air. A high of only 41 and there will be a slight chance even Wednesday afternoon of a quick little rain or snow shower. You see that right here at around five 45 with temperatures in the thirties. Another reinforcing shot of cold air coming in towards Thursday morning, temperatures are going to be in the upper twenties and low thirties. Then mostly cloudy skies, Thursday afternoon, a slight chance of a quick little Sprinkle moving on through and then the warm air comes in going towards your weekend and wet. Here you go Sunday. This is towards Sunday evening. It's raining. There could be some moderate to heavy rain, Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening and some strong gusty winds. We could be looking at Sunday afternoon with winds gusting near 40 MPH. So we need to be weather aware for that Sunday time frame a high near 44 today with mostly cloudy skies thirties tonight, mostly cloudy chance of a rain or snow shower through tomorrow. Cold disorder of Hanukkah. And there's the rain Sunday into Monday morning.

Let's take a look outside through a community camera overlooking Stanford. We see those clouds moving in. Let's get an update on your forecast with meteorologist Jonathan Cuban John. Hey, what's going on, Becky? Now, listen, we're going to work with this chill over the next couple of days. Thirds is going to be the coldest day. You're going to need those hand warmers for sure as you're stepping out the door with it, feeling like the twenties for a lot of us to open up that morning and then we're going to see a nice warm up heading into the weekend, but unfortunately, it does come a little bit of some rain and we could see some strong damaging winds for your Sunday. We're gonna wait through the rest of this afternoon. Numbers well into the thirties, maybe a 40 degree reading here here or there, but notice it's mainly gray. A lot of cloud cover won't rule out a poke of some sunshine for some spots. But again, most of that bright sky that we saw was earlier this morning. We fast forward into tonight, still sitting pretty quiet, but it's gonna be a little bit more on the chillier side and a touch colder as stepping out the door for your tomorrow morning numbers, upper twenties, lower thirties. That's what it'll feel like with just a little bit of some wind and then we'll try to get into some clearing for your tomorrow evening and into your tomorrow night. And that's gonna open door for some colder air to start off your Thursday again. Thursday is gonna be the coldest day from start to finish daytime highs. It's not making it out of the thirties. 34 for Redding, 36 for West 37 from Greenwich all the way up to Bridgeport. And again, that looks like it's gonna be the best that we do. We fast forward into your weekend Saturday again, we're gonna watch the system pushing in from west to east as this front really is gonna push out that clear sky, which we're gonna really work with for your Saturday. Saturday looks a little bit better than last week. Last Friday wasn't too bad. Right. We had those milder temperatures but it was very gray. We're gonna work with sunshine for this, this weekend, at least for the first half before we're gonna find clouds fill in late Saturday night into your sun. And then yes, we're watching some rain as we're pushing into the later part of your Sunday morning for right now. Timing, of course, can definitely, you know, move out and about, we can give things maybe an hour or two early or later as we're pushing forward into again the late morning. So do expect that if you do have plans for the second half of the week and that commute home back into the area as we can see, steady to heavy rain, really picking up into your Sunday night. Not to mention some strong damaging winds. Uh, again, could cause for a little bit of some tricky travel. The Real Deal: Getting a head start on holiday gift shopping 

May be time to get your holiday gift list together. Prime big deal day starts tomorrow. So what can we pick up for less? Our consumer reporter, Janice Lieberman has a real deal on what may be on sale. It may seem like an early Black Friday and that's exactly what Amazon and other retailers are hoping to do. Get a bite out of your holiday budget. It's not even Halloween and Amazon is pushing to get you into the holiday mood. If you're a prime member, you can have access to their Amazon big deals two day sale. Consumers only have so much to spend and so retailers are trying to get a jump on each other to secure a piece of that pie. Shopping expert Trey Bodge says to expect deep discounts on Amazon products like Kindle fire small home appliances too for the kitchen tech will also be strong because it's the beginning of the holiday shopping season. I would expect to see some bundles or gift sets, things like that. Top brands like Dyson, Sony, Barbie LG and Peloton and more are expected to be goodbyes as well. Install price trackers to see if you're getting the lowest price. Camel, camel camel or paypal honey. The pop up will appear and let you know if it's historically a low price or high price. And then I would also look at other deal sites. It may take some more research but it could help cut your holiday spending. And remember it's a two day event and the second day may have different sales to be sure to check them out as well and look at competing retailers to see what they are offering.
