Yonkers suspect pleads guilty to manslaughter in Westchester fatal shooting

A suspect has pleaded guilty in a fatal shooting that stemmed from an argument in Westchester County.

Xavier Palmer, 29, of Yonkers, entered a guilty plea to manslaughter last Thursday, according to the Westchester District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities say Palmer shot and killed 41-year-old James Hardy of Mount Vernon.

The shooting happened on Cliff Street following an argument last year.

Officials say Palmer was arrested shortly after the incident.

He is expected to be sentenced to 25 years in prison next month.
