An Orange County woman is under arrest this afternoon after police say she stabbed her boyfriend during an argument.
Police responded to a 911 call around 7 a.m. about domestic violence in an apartment on Main Street in Highland Falls. They found a 24-year-old man who had allegedly been stabbed by his 23-year-old live-in girlfriend.
The young couple's downstairs neighbor, who wished not to be identified, tells News 12 he heard quite a commotion. "I just heard all this banging. They seem like a normal couple. They're known around the community because they have pig as a pet. They're younger, but no major issues."
Police have not released the names of the couple. They say the boyfriend was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and that his girlfriend has been arrested for assault.
