Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A long-time member of Westchester County's Health Department is now facing felony charges, accused of filing false financial disclosures. Assistant Health Commissioner Peter DeLucia is alleged to have failed to disclose over $95,000 in income received from an environmental health consulting firm. This income should have been reported to the County Board of Ethics. DeLucia is expected to be arraigned at a later date. According to a county spokeswoman, he has been on administrative leave and has resigned, effective next Monday.
A Nyack man faces charges in a dispute that escalated to gunfire in Orangetown. While it remains unclear who fired the shots, suspect John Hall now faces a felony count for possessing a firearm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
A significant amount of fentanyl and crack has been confiscated in a raid in Dutchess County. The task force executed a search at a residence on Main Street in Poughkeepsie as part of an ongoing drug investigation in the city. Tyrone Moye was arrested during the operation and now faces charges for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
