A Georgia man is charged with attempted murder in Dutchess County for allegedly shooting at an Uber in July as the victim reached their destination.
Town of Poughkeepsie police say 21-year-old Nieger Foley, from Suwanee, Georgia, was located and arrested Saturday in the City of Newburgh.
Officials allege Foley followed his intended victim and opened fire at the vehicle on Maisie Court, just before 2:30 a.m.
Authorities say the victim, several witnesses, and the Uber driver confirmed the vehicle had damage from several bullet strikes.
Foley is being held in Dutchess County Jail on $100,000 cash bail, $200,000 bond, or $400,000 partially secured bond.
