A man from Yonkers is facing charges after a theft at a store in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Greenwich police say it happened around 1 p.m. Thursday when a man and a woman entered the store, hid a pair of sunglasses worth nearly $550 and left without paying.
Officers detained 33-year-old Gentian Gjana nearby. He denied involvement, but authorities say video evidence showed him with the woman during the incident.
During a search of Gjana's vehicle, police found two balaclava masks, an illegal size of pepper spray, a tactical vest, fake DEA badges, a knife longer than 4 inches, and 10 rounds of magnum ammunition.
Gjana was arrested and faces multiple charges, including criminal possession of ammunition, illegal possession of weapons in a motor vehicle, forgery, and conspiracy to commit larceny.
