Bronx man charged in hit-and-run death of Yonkers teen

A Bronx man has been arrested in the hit-and-run death of a Yonkers teenager.
Richard Alvarez, 28, is accused of slamming into Quejuan Rivera, 19, as he rode his motorcycle in the Bronx on Friday.
The 19-year-old died from his injuries two days later.
Alvarez is charged leaving the scene of an accident causing a serious injury and aggravated unlicensed operator.
A vigil was held for the teen last night, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to pay for his funeral costs.
