A man was severely burned and airlifted to a hospital early Tuesday evening from a park in Warwick.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. at the Wickham Woodlands Park outside the Hudson Sports Complex.
Police have not shared many details regarding what caused the man’s burns.
The scene at the park was still active as of 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police were seen collecting evidence from a car that was later towed.
Warwick police and New York State Police are investigating the incident.
