Crews responded to a two-alarm fire at an abandoned building in Middletown on Sunday.

The Middletown Fire Department says it happened on the grounds of the former Middletown State Homeopathic Hospital.

Photos shared by the department show heavy smoke damage inside a building, with equipment blackened and debris scattered across the floor.

It's unclear how the fire started or if anyone was injured.
