Town of Newburgh police are helping to make the holidays special this year for dozens of children in need.
Police hosted their “Shop with a Cop” event on Tuesday at Walmart with 50 children – who had the chance to pick out a special Christmas toy.
Kids were selected based on need by the Newburgh School District.
The event was sponsored by the department and the store.
