Some local children in need will have a present to open this holiday season thanks to some very giving volunteers.
Volunteers from both Empire City Casino and Catholic Charities wrapped presents Monday during the Wrapped With Love event. The event wants to make sure that every child has a present to open on Christmas morning.
The toys have will be packed up and sent to Catholic Charities and the Aisling Irish Community Center in Yonkers.
For those who want to participate, presents can be dropped off at any promotions booth at Empire City through Nov. 30.
