Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and local organizations delivered more than 400 Thanksgiving dinners to families in need this year.

The recipients were selected by local community-based organizations.

Mayor Spano stated, "We just want to do our part to make life maybe just a little better or a little easier because at the end of the day, it's really about family and being together."

This initiative has been ongoing for over a decade, with Mayor Spano hosting the dinner giveaway since he first took office.
