Police say a cab driver was stabbed to death during a robbery in his cab Thursday night. A source says 29-year-old Geraldo Gutierrez, of the Mexico Cab Company, was bringing two teenagers back to Yonkers late Thursday night when he was stabbed. Many of Gutierrez?s fellow cab drivers are shocked by the incident and say they are now concerned about their own safety.?We want to make sure that we get from this the tools that we need to protect the lives of other drivers,? says Fernando Mateo, of the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers.The victim?s cousin says Gutierrez had just gotten married in December and was working to earn enough money to move back to the Dominican Republic.Police are now questioning the two young teenagers in connection with the murder.
