Technical teams from both Rockland and Westchester counties worked together to rescue three workers from at a power plant in Rockland County on Wednesday.

First responders tell News 12 that the workers got stuck on the side of a tower at the Bow Line Power Plant in West Haverstraw on Wednesday night.

They say one person was in an elevator about 150 feet up, and the other two workers were on a platform about 200 feet up the tower, which resembles a smoke stack.

The rescue required several fire departments working together, using a 135 foot crane, to get all three safely to the ground one at a time.

There's no word on whether any of the workers suffered any injuries or exactly why they got stuck.
