Ingredients:

2 pounds filet mignon roast
2 tablespoons salt
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons of horseradish
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Place the filet mignon on a flat surface and season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a sauté pan and sear all sides of the filet.
3. Once the filet is seared, remove it from the pan and place it into an oven safe tray.
4. Put the tray into a preheated 350-degree oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 115-degrees.
5. Remove the filet from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
6. Once cooled, slice the filet as thin as possible and set aside
7. Prepare the horseradish sauce by adding the mayo, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish in a bowl and whisk.
8. Transfer the contents of the bowl into a smaller serving bowl and place in the center of a platter.
9. Shingle the sliced filet mignon around the edge of the platter, shingling closer to the center as you go around.
