Wake services were held Monday for the victims of the deadly wrong-way crash on the New York State Thruway in Suffern.
Police are still trying to figure out why off-duty NYPD officer Richard Christopher made a U-turn on the Thruway last Tuesday morning and then drove the wrong way. The Army veteran was on his way to work in the Bronx when he crashed into James DeVito, of Airmont.
Wakes services for both men took place in Rockland this afternoon.
Their funerals are planned for tomorrow.
