More than 1,000 people came together in Westchester County on Sunday to support the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Participants took part in Westchester's annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.

According to organizers, this year's event raised more than $970,000 to support Alzheimer's research, care and support services.

The walk brought together families, caregivers, advocates and community members united in the effort to end the disease and provide support for those affected by it.
