Volunteer firefighter Jared Lloyd was honored and remembered at a candlelight vigil at Flywheel Park in Piermont.

Lloyd, the father of a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old, died while rescuing residents from the flames at an assisted living facility in Spring Valley. One of the residents also died in the incident.

Lloyd was also an employee at Altice USA. His coworkers gathered along with hundreds of residents from his community to mourn and pray.
