The H-Bridge in Tarrytown, a vital link to the Hudson River waterfront, has reopened following a safety inspection forced its closure Monday night.

Village officials shut down a section of the bridge after the inspection revealed a structural deficiency.

The bridge, which spans the train tracks and is shaped like an "H," provides the only vehicular access to the waterfront.
