A 21-month-old boy died Saturday after his mother lost control of the car she was driving and crashed into a tree Friday.

Giles Ma was strapped into his car seat when police say his pregnant mother, Jeneve, lost control of the vehicle on I-684 in Bedford.

Both the boy and his mother were taken to Westchester Medical Center. Giles was taken off life support Saturday after his organs were donated. Jeneve Ma was released and her unborn baby is said to be okay.

State police are still investigating the incident but say there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.
