The teenager accused of murdering a West Nyack man he met on Craigslist was indicted Friday, shortly after testifying before a grand jury.
Dylan Lentini, 19, is facing a murder charge in the death of 66-year-old Michael Wimbert. He's also facing a robbery charge.
The homeless man from New York City is accused of killing Wimbert early Tuesday morning in the victim's West Nyack apartment.
According to Clarkstown police officials, Lentini met Wimbert after responding to an ad on Craigslist. Wimbert had been searching for a roommate.
Officials say the victim then arranged to pick up Lentini on Friday at the train station in White Plains.
Police officials say they discovered Lentini with a bloodied knife early Tuesday morning outside of Wimbert's apartment. They found Wimbert upstairs dead from apparent stab wounds.
He is expected to be arraigned on the new charges at the Rockland County Courthouse next week.
