Even though it's still early in the school year, many teachers across the Hudson Valley are exhausted and stressed by the demands of working in the pandemic.
This morning on News 12’s “The New Normal,” the president of the White Plains Teachers Association spoke about the social and emotional toll the coronavirus crisis is taking on teachers and students.
Kara McCormick says that while planning out instruction has been harder, it’s not the only test. "Another challenge is balancing it all, right? So managing students in front of you, managing students at home, and then managing your own personal life at the same time, I think is a challenge a lot of my colleagues have reported."
