New York's budding cannabis industry will take soon take center stage in Tarrytown.

Hundreds of growers, legacy operators and business owners are getting ready for a first-of-its-kind conference at the Westchester Marriot.

New York legalized cannabis for adult-use recreational marijuana back in March and now people are waiting to hear which entrepreneurs will be selected to run the first dispensaries.

Conference organizer Brad Racino says tomorrow's event will offer a deep dive on the most pressing issues impacting the early-market stages of legalization. "These conferences really help this market mature help people learn from each other and setting bar as high as possible for events in this state," say Brad Racino, publisher of New York Cannabis Insider.
