Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to two separate gas station robberies in Westchester.
The first occurred at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Citgo station on Washington Street in Peekskill. The victim told police that a man with a dark-hooded sweatshirt walked in, brandished a handgun and took off on a bike with an unknown sum of cash.
The second robbery happened about an hour later at a Shell station on South Highland Avenue in Ossining. Police say the suspect also showed a handgun, demanded cash and fled on a bicycle.
Police say the description of the suspect is similar in both cases.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
