Fireworks may be to blame for sparking a fire in Yonkers that left six families homeless.
It happened Saturday night at a three-story building on Stanley Avenue.
Yonkers fire officials confirm 12 firefighters were injured as they doused the flames.
Officials say fireworks and poor housekeeping outside may have led to fire.
The building is now a total loss.
