Police: Man dies after being found with gunshot wounds in Nyack

A 30-year-old man has died after he was found with gunshot wounds on South Midland Avenue in Nyack Friday morning, authorities say.

A 30-year-old man has died after he was found with gunshot wounds on South Midland Avenue in Nyack Friday morning, authorities say.
Orangetown police tell News 12 they found the victim around 10 a.m.
"That individual was transported to Nyack Hospital and he has subsequently passed away of unknown cause at this time. The medical examiners' office will conduct their investigation,” says Orangetown Police Department Chief Donald Butterworth.
Police suspect that the gunshot wounds may have killed him.
"We want to assure the people of Rockland County that my office will cooperate in this investigation,” says Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh.
No one has been arrested in connection to the crime at this time.
