Sen. Pete Harckham (D-40) has urged for reduced toll charges for Rockland County residents as a countermeasure to the Traffic Mobility Review Board's proposed congestion pricing plan.
Harckham's proposal, conveyed through a formal letter, aims to alleviate the financial burden on Rockland residents highlighted in the plan, which suggests an extra $15 fee for drivers crossing the George Washington Bridge, where the E-ZPass toll stands at $15.
