There are growing calls to help assist seniors with making vaccine appointments in Rockland County.      

The county is now activating its Emergency Operations Center to help manage a vaccine waitlist of 11,000 and growing.  "I want to emphasize something this is work that we are not required to do nor should we have had to do it, but we all know that it's the right thing to do," says  Rockland County Executive Ed Day.

Also, a reminder out of Westchester County - People living in Yonkers ZIP codes 10701, 10705, 10703 and 10704, and Mount Vernon ZIP codes 10553, 10550 and 10552 can make appointments at the new mass vaccination site at the National Guard Armory in Yonkers.
