A homeless shelter in White Plains unveiled its multimillion-dollar renovations Thursday.
The expansion should help the Open Arms Mens Shelter aid even more of Westchester's homeless, according to officials.
Renovations added 4,000 square feet to the floor plan, partially by building up.
The shelter added a third floor stocked with compartmentalized housing units, replacing a larger communal barracks.
It also expanded the kitchen, adding enough refrigerators to store enough food for 52 men.
