Questions swirl as Tuckahoe mayor declares new Ossining home her primary residence
The new home is closer to the Andino's full-time job as the CEO of the Institutes of Applied Human Development in Tarrytown.

According to public land records, Tuckahoe Village Mayor Omayra Andino bought a new home in Ossining last fall. The move raised concerns from residents and those who work in the village as well as possible legal questions.
"She's supposed to be living here not someplace else," said Tuckahoe resident Esparanza Villarreal.
According to records, Andino signed the mortgage papers for the new home six days before she won her second term last November. Andino identified the new Ossining home as her primary residence in those documents.
According to New York state law, a village mayor must live in the municipality they're elected to.
Dora Przybylek who works near Village Hall said she sees both sides.
"We all have freedom of living where ever we want to live [but]...everybody wants to have their mayor you know, as part of the community."
The new home is closer to the Andino's full-time job as the CEO of the Institutes of Applied Human Development in Tarrytown.
The documents did not indicate that the mayor was planning to leave her current Tuckahoe apartment.
Andino's two-year term runs through the end of next year.
She has not yet responded to News 12's multiple requests for an interview or comment.
