A project to repair three bridges in Putnam Valley is now moving forward after being stalled by legal wrangling.
The project was supposed to be finished eight months ago, but the county and contractor disagreed over stipulations in the contract.
Now the county has been given the OK to bond up to $4 million to restart the project.
And they've told the original contractor that their contract has been terminated.
That contractor plans to sue the county.
Meanwhile, County Executive Kevin Byrne hopes once a new contractor is selected, the project can be completed as soon as possible.
