A man accused of attempting to rob the Wells Fargo Bank Friday in Yonkers is facing charges, according to police.
Authorities say the suspect entered the bank on Yonkers Avenue around 2 p.m. and passed a note to the teller.
The note allegedly demanded money and stated that he had a weapon. However, he fled the scene empty handed.
Detectives say they tracked down the man in the Bronx. His name has not been released.
