The Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department is investigating an attempted luring of two middle school students.

Police say it happened at the intersection of Ravensdale and Farragut.

The students told officials that two men approached the students on their walk to school, offering candy, to get them into a white car.

The students were from Farragut Middle School and reported the incident to their principal once they arrived at school.

School officials are urging parents to remind children not to engage with strangers.

The involved students were not hurt.

Police say they have increased patrols in the areas as the investigation continues.
