Police are searching for suspects in a home invasion Wednesday in Harrison.
Authorities blocked the northbound entrance to Hutchinson River Parkway after they say the escape vehicle of the alleged robbers was found crashed there. Police say the suspects, believed to be two men and a woman, busted into the home of an elderly couple who live at 209 Union Ave. at about 8 p.m.
The suspects are alleged to have made off with an unknown amount of valuables. They then fled the scene in a vehicle belonging to the home owners, police say.
Authorities say this is the second time in a year and a half that the home at 209 Union Ave. has been robbed. One of the suspects may have been caught boarding a train in Yonkers, police say.
