A four-car crash on the Taconic State Parkway has left two people dead, police say.
News 12 sources on the scene say one of the deceased is a child.
State police say the incident occurred just after 3 p.m. north of Baldwin Road. They say one of the vehicles was traveling northbound before going airborne, crossing over the median and landing on top of two other cars.
The southbound lanes on the Taconic were shut down causing massive delays for miles, which stretched all the way back to Route 202.
It is not yet clear what caused the crash.
