A new guidance released by the Pleasantville School district says students and staff must wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
The decision comes as Westchester County is now classified by the CDC as having a "substantial risk" for COVID-19.
Other health measures include daily health screenings, enhanced ventilation, contact tracing protocols and increased cleaning.
Pleasantville schools reopen with in-person learning in about a month.
