Westchester County legislators and representatives from the future management of Rye Playland met at the park on Monday to try and figure out a way to keep it up and running without hurting the taxpayers.
The representatives from Standard Amusements, the company that is going to manage the park, met with county legislators to look at the park and future plans.
While there doesn't seem to be any disagreement that the park needs to be repaired, officials are considering exactly what will be done and how much it is going to cost.
There are 11 proposed projects that need to be approved, including a new parking lot and repairing of the colonnades, towers and a fountain.
The developer could pull out at the end of the month if the board does not vote, but officials tell News 12 that that they don't think it will happen because some progress is being made.
The price tag for the entire park project is $58 million.
