With just four months to go before Election Day, News 12 is looking at how the candidates are doing financially.
Tuesday was the deadline for the gubernatorial candidates to file their latest campaign finance reports.
The numbers seem to indicate that Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino is far behind in the fundraising battle against Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The GOP candidate has just $2.4 million left to spend, compared to Cuomo's more than $33 million.
Spokesman Bill O'Reilly insists Astorino's campaign has enough to stay competitive.
"We don't need to match Andrew Cuomo's money, we never will," he says. "We're actually happy where we are. The money is coming in small donations, which is great."
News 12 reached out several times to Gov. Cuomo's campaign staff and has not heard back from them on their final numbers as of this morning's filing.
