Mount Pleasant police: 3 boys from facility for emotionally troubled kids arrested for car break-ins

Police say the trio from the Pleasantville Cottage School broke into parked cars along Sherman and Warren avenues.

Mount Pleasant police say three residents of a facility for emotionally troubled boys and girls were arrested Tuesday night and are accused of breaking into about a dozen cars.
Police say the trio from the Pleasantville Cottage School broke into parked cars along Sherman and Warren avenues.
They say residents observed the activity on their Ring cameras.
The three boys were taken into custody and various items were recovered.
They're charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and possession of stolen property.
Police say the school is also being issued three summonses for failure to supervise.
