A fatal shooting in the Melrose section of the Bronx marked the first homicide of 2015 for New York City. 
According police, Herb Huntley was found in the lobby of 671 Westchester Ave., which is part of the Saint Mary's Houses, at around 3 a.m. He had gunshot wounds to the head and torso. 
Cops say Huntley, who lived in the neighboring John Adams Houses, was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. 
No arrests have been made.
