Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Peekskill that has left one man hospitalized.Officials say the incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street. According to officials, the 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and stumbled several blocks before collapsing.Police have not revealed the victim's identity, but say he is from Georgia and has ties to the area.
He was taken to Westchester Medical Center and underwent surgery Wednesday night. Officials say he is currently in critical but stable condition.Police are still trying to determine possible motives for the shooting. They have named 26-year-old Leon Clement as a suspect.
