Lawmakers unveiled a plan Tuesday that includes discounts for Rockland and Westchester residents who plan to take the new Tappan Zee Bridge.
State Sen. David Carlucci laid out a plan in Nyack that includes a tax toll credit, a resident discount at 60 percent of the original toll for both Westchester and Rockland residents and stricter laws for toll evasion.
The toll tax credit would provide $250 for single taxpayers who use the bridge and $500 for those filing.
