An iPhone case that looks like a gun has lawmakers up in arms.
Lawmakers and police in Yonkers say the cases could put consumers in danger because they can easily be mistaken for real firearms.
The cases are apparently made in China, and are being sold online.
Lawmakers say they haven't actually seen the cases on the streets of Yonkers, but they want to pass a law anyway as a safety precaution.
"We're taking steps forward to eliminate it in Yonkers," says Charles Gardner, Yonkers police commissioner. "It's a case of the law catching up with technology. They've made it so we have to make a law so its not out in the public."
Rep. Mike Breen says if manufacturers want to make them, it's incumbent on them to make sure they resemble a toy more than an actual gun.
