NBA star and Elmsford native Donovan Mitchell is speaking out for the first time since testing positive from coronavirus.

The 23-year-old Utah Jazz star, in isolation, appeared on "Good Morning America" earlier today.

Mitchell's teammate Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player that tested positive for coronavirus.

Mitchell says he's thankful that just two of them on the team got the virus, and they were able to isolate it. "I have no symptoms which is a unique -- when people ask me I would say if you were to tell me I could play in a seven-game series tomorrow, I would be ready to lace up," Mitchell said.  "I'm just blessed to be able to be OK."
