A disturbance involving several teenagers prompted the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall to close early Friday night.

Bounce!, an entertainment venue inside the mall, said the incident happened during its Teen Night.
The business said that despite additional security and police officers being present, the situation escalated beyond what staff could safely handle.
Bounce! said the people involved have been banned from the property and announced that Teen Night is suspended indefinitely due to repeated incidents.
Effective immediately, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult age 18 or older while at Bounce!.
Bounce! said the changes are intended to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
